(Note: please forgive these next few out-of-order entries, I'm behind on blogging photos and events and am now backtracking to April until I get caught up with August---anyone who knows me knows that procrastination is an ongoing challenge!)
So....back to the story......
With the warm weather that Spring brings, we spent more time outside in April and May as the sun appeared more and more and the snow gradually melted. The above photos are highlights of a cookout at Grandma and Grandpa Hopkins in the backyard (Delaney discovered pretzels!), some fun on the stairs in her pyjamas, fun in the park with mom and dad at one of her favorite spots-a swingset, and her new favorite place to read stories-on the rocking chair!! The last few photos include a farewell party for our friend Meg Martinez and her family, who moved to Texas in May and a few photos posing with Aunt Ruth Ann, Delaney's great aunt who was visiting from Georgia in the Spring! Goodbye winter and hello sunshine!!
