We drove to Michiana for the weekend, to stay at Aunt Karen's boyfriend's (now fiance) weekend house near Lake Michigan. His parents own a beautiful home nearby right on the beach, so we hung out there for the day. Although Delaney didn't swim, she put her toes in the water and played on the sand with her cousins Rohan and Fynn, visiting from San Francisco. Steve's nieces Jacqueline, Sam, and Lauren took good care of Delaney by reading her books and playing with her throughout the day. Mommy and Daddy took a spin in Steve's dad's Porsche, a first for Mommy! We love Lake Michigan, and it's about the next best thing to living near the ocean....which isn't likely to happen in Illinois! Nevertheless, Delaney has proved over and over again that she is a water baby!!!
