Aunty Jen and Uncle Scott and cousins Brittney and Kyle live in Rockford, which is about an hour north of our house. We try to get up there for a weekend visit once every other month or so. It's always fun to see them and the cousins love to play together. In early June, we drove up for a visit and attend a Rockford Riverhawks game, the local baseball team. It was Delaney's first baseball game and although she enjoyed it, she also loved walking around to people watch!
On Sunday before we left for home, Delaney enjoyed riding cousin Kyle's power scooter in the driveway. With the push of a button, it suddenly lurches forward and rides--over and over again! Back at home, she looked at us on her own scooter like "Where's the button, guys??" I guess the 10-cent garage sale buys aren't always as fancy!
