River Valley Antique Power Engine Show july 07
We spent a weekend in Three Oaks, Michigan at the end of July and stayed in a cute little cabin by the lake. Grandma and Grandpa Hopkins drove down to visit, so that we could all attend the River Valley Gas Engine Show, which is basically an antique show featuring antique tractors, combines, saw mills, etc. Delaney was able to sit on John Deere tractors that were from the 1930's and 1940's! She enjoyed being in the driver's seat and pretending that the tractor would drive off at any given moment! Highlight of the day was meeting a new friend, a fluffy little puppy who was friendly and very generous with hugs! Daddy bought some raffle tickets to win a tractor.....hopefully we won't win this raffle because we have no place to store an old restored tractor, as interesting as it would be to own one! I guess there is always E-Bay!
