Delaney celebrated her second birthday (which was March 1st) on March 9th, in conjunction with little sis Lila's baptismal celebration. She wore a navy blue and white toile dress to the party, and had a great time seeing all her friends. Friends and family who came out to celebrate with us were the Martins, Maysonets, Colsons, Bremers, Williamsons, Clevers, Aunt Karen and Uncle Steve, Uncle John, and both sets of Grandparents! Delaney is totally getting the idea of birthday cake, blowing out the candles, balloons, presents, cards, and saying "I'm two!", and she thoroughly enjoyed herself. At 4:00, after bidding farewell to the guests who were still celebrating with us, she declared she was tired and went upstairs for a nap. Later she came down refreshed and happy, animatedly talking about how much fun she had at her birthday party. Thank you to everyone who brought such thoughtful gifts and spent their Sunday afternoon with us celebrating two special occasions in our girls' lives.
