easter sunday ~ april 9

Easter Sunday 2007 was Delaney's second Easter! Grandma and Grandpa were out of town, so we kept it simple but fun. We had spent the night in Chicago and had a nice brunch on Sunday morning with just Mommy, Daddy, and Delaney (and bunny ears!) at Tre Kroner, a little swedish restaurant in Chicago. After that, we drove back to Aurora and held a little Easter egg hunt for Delaney in the backyard. She found all the colorful Easter eggs, and really enjoyed herself! The best part was eating PEEPS treats back in the house. They are basically straight sugar....and SO good! She kept eating them and eating them, and finally we had to distract her with more Easter eggs so that we could sneak them away. Daddy never cared for them, but Mommy always loved them. Like mother, like daughter I guess! Daddy also dyed some eggs for Delaney in a "tie dye" decoration, which she got a kick out of. I think next year when we do the Easter Egg hunt, it will go by a lot faster since Delaney is now walking everywhere, and moving very FAST!

We really enjoyed the day with our little Easter bunny!
