We took Delaney to the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco a few days after Christmas. It was nostalgic for me, since I hadn't been for a walk on the bridge since 1980, when I visited with my Grandma Mooberry and Grandma Forker on our big roadtrip out west. The weather was brisk and sunny, and we enjoyed a stroll across the bridge and back. A souvenir shop was conveniently placed at the entrance to the parking lot, and we couldn't pass up adding two new snowglobes featuring San Francisco to Delaney's growing collection, with different views of the bridge in the background. The bridge is definitely better viewed up close, but a snowglobe makes for a nice memento!
