Delaney Fierce Elite Club Volleyball 23-24 season. 5th and final year 🏐💖

January 2024 Fierce Elite 18U team photos!   Delaney has played for Fierce Elite Volleyball since 8th grade, the 2019-20 school year.  The season was cut short in March when COVID suddenly hit and they didn't play again for the rest of that school year.   Things got progressively better the following season but play and participants were required to wear masks and there was social distancing for seats and it all pretty much sucked that first year back.  The past few years have been way better as far as COVID guidelines, which went away these last 2 years.   

The team's talent has ebbed and flowed over the years, but Delaney has ALWAYS improved as middle and continues to shine as a player!  I am so proud of her.  I have taken MANY action shots and videos over the years, and none have made it to the blog...... but my phone has proof that thousands and thousands of recorded moments exist.

The team this year is GOOD, they have won several matches so far in the season and are doing great.  It is a pretty new team this year (6 have played together, 4 are new) and they are like a well oiled machine.  I look forward to this new season and I enjoy watching these girls WIN!!!

Delaney has no plans to play next year in college, and I will miss watching her play VERY VERY much.  Volleyball has filled up most of my weekends in the Winter-Spring season for the past 4 years, so next year will be much quieter....

But, there's good news!   Thank goodness Topher has started club volleyball with Cyclones, because his team will keep me busy as a volleyball Mom until at least 2028!   💚💚💚💚🏐🏐🏐🏐🏐🏐
