Christopher started army crawling about two weeks BEFORE he started sitting up on his own, so that blissful few weeks when a baby is able to sit up and play on a mat without crawling away never happened with him. But that's okay, it's nice to have him sitting up on his own and being more independent. This was the very first time he sat up alone. Unfortunately, it also coincided with a crabby moment. He was either very tired or very hungry in this photo, I can't quite remember! But he recovered pretty quickly....I'm sure I picked up him to help him feel better. This was truly the first moment he sat up on his own with no support, so I had to get it on camera!
