It's been forever since Mommy has blogged.....two kids under the age of four.....just doesn't happen as it used to! But I am determined to continue as time permits!!
Anyway, just had to share one of Delaney's little quirks. She is obsessed with GIDEON BIBLES at hotels. This photo was shot at our hotel in Chicago near the Merchandise Mart when we spent the weekend downtown at the end of Mommy's spring break. No matter what city in the world we find ourselves in, as soon as we walk into our hotel room, she shouts, "I wanna read the Bible!!" and runs to the bedside table, pulls out the Bible, lays on the bed, and starts leafing through it-pretending to intently read. She will tire of it after about 15 minutes, but as soon as it is time for bed, even if we've been out all day doing fun stuff, she will beg to "read the Bible" before bed. She doesn't want it read to her, nor does she ask what anything says. She just flips through the pages, fascinated with all that small print. As soon as she wakes up, she again asks to read the Bible. Interesting enough, she never asks to read the Bible at home. I wonder when the obsession will end---hopefully it will continue (in moderation) even after she learns to read! I must say, she is definitely more virtous than most :O)
