The Hopkids welcome you!
Welcome to our family blog! The Hopkids are made up of our two daughters Delaney and Lila, and our son Christopher (see ages below), who keep us on our toes every day and fill our lives with joy and laughter. We are so blessed to have three happy and healthy kids, and we hope that you enjoy reading about their everyday adventures!

east peoria weekend may 08
We travelled to Peoria the last weekend in May for Uncle James' graduation from East Peoria Community High School, Mommy's Alma Mater (Class of 91!) Highlights included Lila rocking in the rocking chair with Grandpa Warren, Delaney playing with kitty and Aunty Jenna and Aunty Beth, and visiting Mommy's best friend from high school Jennifer Brennan. Her son Ethan is now 13, her daughter Sydney is 6, and her youngest daughter Bella is 5. We were met with perfect weather and on Sunday when we drove back home, we were able to enjoy a yummy lunch of gondolas (sub sandwiches) from an ole EP favorite, Avanti's. On the drive back to Aurora we stopped the car and ate outside on the grass, and Delaney got "cheeto hands", those orange hands that result from eating cheetos out of the bag! The only regret is that we didn't get a photo with the guest of honor Uncle James, but will try to get one on the next visit, before he leaves for SIU in the fall.
