Hard to believe....but after five long, hard, REALLY chilly months of one of the coldest Midwestern winters on record- with snowfall that didn't cease until the end of March, it appears that Spring MIGHT JUST BE ON THE WAY! And we are SO ready for it. We took a walk the other night at dusk, taking full advantage of weather that wasn't exactly warm and balmy, but at least not "TUNDRA-LIKE"! Our M.O. is to put Delaney in the wagon, and Lila in the baby carrier, either on Mommy or Daddy. She gets her little knit hat, a scarf to keep the wind off her back, and a warm cover in front to keep her cozy and warm. Walks in our neighborhood are great. There are sidewalks on every street, friendly neighbors, and lots of squirrels, puppies, and birds to greet us along the way. Delaney keeps a running commentary of everything she sees from her wagon, and Lila looks all around until she usually drifts off into a peaceful sleep. I think we are all outdoor people and would stay outdoors all the time, which we will probably do once Spring truly does arrive!
