And this is a photo of Lila, taken when she was about eight weeks old! (this month)


I've had several people tell me that the two sisters really look alike, while others say they hardly resemble each other and have their own distinctive look! Lila definitely has darker hair (and more of it) than Delaney did at this age. She is also a bigger baby (Delaney had a lot of catching up to do after she was born!) Personally I can see some of Delaney in Lila, when she makes certain facial expressions or turns her head in a certain way.

However, in going back and looking at photos of them both at this age, I must admit it is uncanny how much alike they actually are when one looks closely--especially in black and white when coloring isn't an issue. So folks, let me pose the question: could Laney and Lila pass for twins at this age?! Let the reader be the judge! It will be fun to continue to make these comparisons as the girls grows older and their features change.


Oh, and you couldn't tell I'm having the time of my life being the mommy of two little girls could you!?! :O)
